There is no more famous painting than this Italian Renaissance portrait. Today, the Mona Lisa attracts millions of visitors from all over the world to the Louvre every year, trying to capture or penetrate the essence of its mystery.
The "Monna Lisa" exhibition offers the public the opportunity to discover the work in new conditions, to travel through its history and to get closer to its pictorial surface. Composed of several sequences, the exhibition progressively invites the public to go back in time, from the icon that she is today, to the early days of her creation, to better understand where Leonardo's genius lies and what makes this portrait still captivating five centuries later.
