In the heart of the Mesozoic era

Museum of Natural History, Le Havre

What if we could travel back in time to explore lost worlds?
The film “Biodiversity in the Past” invites viewers to discover the life that once thrived in Normandy between 170 and 90 million years ago. Through three ecosystems—marine, coastal, and terrestrial—this large-scale, monumental projection reveals an astonishing biodiversity that has since disappeared.
This experience—at once visual, sensory, and scientific—serves as an invitation to understand the evolution of life and to reflect on the challenges facing biodiversity today.
